Case Background
On June 10 and 12, 2016, Gawker Media, LLC and 2 affiliated debtors (collectively, the "Debtors") each filed a voluntary petition for relief under chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The cases were before the Honorable Stuart M. Bernstein and were jointly administered under Case No. 16-11700.
Pursuant to an order of the Bankruptcy Court dated November 6, 2019 (Docket No. 1218) the Debtors' cases are now closed.

The Bankruptcy Court has set the following deadlines for filing proofs of claim against the Debtors:
- General Bar Date (all creditors other than Governmental Units): September 29, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. (ET)
- Administrative Claims Bar Date (for claims between the Filing Date and July 31, 2016): September 29, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. (ET)
- Administrative Claims Bar Date (for claims between August 1, 2016 and September 30, 2016): November 15, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. (ET)
- Administrative Claims Bar Date (for claims since October 1, 2016): May 16, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. (ET)
- Governmental Bar Date: December 9, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. (ET)
First Day Motions and Related Hearings
A hearing on the Debtors' First Day Motions was held on June 15, 2016, before the Honorable Stuart M. Bernstein.
The final hearing on the First Day Motions and an Initial Case Management Conference was held in Room 723, United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, One Bowling Green, New York, New York 10004 on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. (EST), to consider the efficient administration of the case.

Plan & Disclosure Statement
A hearing on the Debtors' motion to consider (i) the adequacy of the Disclosure Statement; (ii) the solicitation procedures with respect to confirmation of the Plan; (iii) the form of ballots and notices in connection therewith; and (iv) the scheduling of certain dates related thereto, was held before the Honorable Stuart M. Bernstein of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York (the “Court”), in Room 723, One Bowling Green, New York, New York 10004-1408, was held on November 3, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. (New York Time). The Bankruptcy Court held a hearing to consider confirmation of the Plan on December 13, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. (New York Time). On December 22, 2016 the Bankruptcy Court entered an order confirming the Plan, and on March 17, 2017 the Plan became effective.
