Case Background
On February 12, 2014, Optim Energy, LLC and seven affiliated debtors (collectively, the "Debtors") each filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The cases are pending before the Honorable Brendan L. Shannon and are jointly administered under Case No. 14-10262.
Important Information & Dates
Plan and Disclosure Statement
On August 21, 2015, the Liquidating Debtors filed their First Amended Plan of Liquidation and the Disclosure Statement related thereto. On September 8, 2015, the Bankruptcy Court entered an order approving the Disclosure Statement. A hearing to consider confirmation of the Plan was held on October 14, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. (ET). On October 14, 2015 the Bankruptcy Court entered an order confirming the Plan. On October 15, 2015, the Plan became effective and was substantially consummated.
On March 18, 2015, the Reorganizing Debtors filed their Plan of Reorganization and the Disclosure Statement related thereto. On May 19, 2015, the Bankruptcy Court entered an order approving the Disclosure Statement. The hearing to consider confirmation of the Plan was held beginning on July 23, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. (ET). On July 30, 2015 the Bankruptcy Court entered an order confirming the Plan. On August 21, 2015, the Plan became effective and was substantially consummated.
Administrative Claims Bar Date
The Bankruptcy Court has established May 27, 2015 as the deadline for filing administrative claims against the Debtors that arose from February 12, 2014 (the Petition Date in these cases) through and including March 31, 2015.
