Case Background

On August 3, 2015, American Standard Energy, Corp. and one affiliated debtor (collectively, the "Debtors") each filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Texas.  The cases are pending before the Honorable Ronald B. King and are jointly administered under Case No. 15-70104.

Important Information & Dates

Plan & Disclosure Statement

On March 17, 2016, the Debtors filed their Plan of Reorganization and the Disclosure Statement related thereto.  The Bankruptcy Court held a hearing to consider approval of the Disclosure Statement on April 26, 2016 at 1:45 p.m. (Central Time) before the Honorable Ronald B. King, Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge, at the Hipolito F. Garcia Federal Building and United States Courthouse, 615 East Houston Street, Room 383, San Antonio, TX 78205.  On May 10, 2016, the Bankruptcy Court entered an order approving the Amended Disclosure Statement.  On July 26, the Bankruptcy Court entered an order confirming the Plan. On September 26, 2016, the Effective Date of the Plan occurred, and the Plan was consummated.

Asset Sale

On January 22, 2016, the Debtors filed a motion to sell substantially all of their assets.  On December 3, 2015, the Bankruptcy Court entered an order approving bidding and auction procedures in connection with such sale.  The Bankruptcy Court held a hearing to consider approval of the sale on February 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM (Central Time).

Bar Date for Filing Proofs of Claim

The Bankruptcy Court has set the following deadlines for filing proofs of claim against the Debtors: 

• General Bar Date (all creditors other than Governmental Units): December 16, 2015
• Governmental Unit Bar Date: January 30, 2016
